Late last week, Kiehl's on Walnut Street suddenly shut down. Today, news comes that A. Kitchen, which lives in the bottom floor of the AKA Rittenhouse Square hotel, is expanding into that now-empty space with a new concept.
Partner David Fields says that the "little sister to A. Kitchen" will have 35 seats, and focus on wine and cocktails, as well as raw foods. Don't expect much in the way of hot dishes, as there will be no hood system, but rest assured that Bryan Sikora will find a way to make the bites coming out of the kitchen delicious. Stay tuned.
