We broke the news about the massive La Colombe project planned for Fishtown earlier this month, and founder/honcho Todd Carmichael just told Eater that as of last night's FNA Zoning Meeting, all systems are go. The zoning variances have been approved, and the neighborhood association voted in favor of the project 82-2, which is a serious slam dunk. Carmichael tweeted out a picture of the building facade plans (pictured above) after the successful vote, to give the neighborhood a taste of what's coming.

The La Colombe Fishtown compound is moving into 1335-1349 Frankford Avenue—which encompasses three huge warehouse structures—for the new expansion. The project includes an entirely new roasting facility, a distillery (for La Colombe rum), and a huge cafe that will feature all the bells and whistles like cupping centers, labs, cutting edge brewing equipment, and take home coffee kits.

For you fans of Carmichael's Travel Channel show Dangerous Grounds, season 2 has wrapped up filming, and they're busy cutting it up and making it all shiny for broadcast. Stay tuned.
