Eater Philly has been brainstorming the most successful hangover cures that have had success in the past, and we (Eater Philly contribs, two chefs, and the editor) have all agreed that this simple solution is the very best, and can be prepared the day before your raging hangover: "Herb" Compound Butter on Sour Cream Cornbread Muffins.

Warning: This recipe isn't for everyone, and has a unique ingredient. Feel free to eliminate it, as the compound butter is just as delicious without it, and the cayenne pepper helps beat down hangover symptoms on its own.

"Herb" Compound Butter on Sour Cream Cornbread Muffin
You can simply purchase some cornbread muffins at your local supermarket, or if you're really adventurous, make your own using this recipe (which is pretty damned delicious).

Compound Butter Ingredients:
Two sticks of full fat butter. Black pepper. Coriander. Cayenne Pepper. Salt. Cannibis shake (in powder form).

Compound Butter Instructions:
· Take two sticks of real deal, full fat butter and let them stand until soft.
· Cut up the butter in a bowl.
· Add pinch of salt, 2 pinches of coriander, pinch of cayenne pepper, and pinch of cannabis all folded into the butter with a rubber spatula.
· Dump butter mixture on large piece of plastic wrap, then roll and shape it into a log. Wrap it tight, seal the ends, and throw it in the fridge for 2 hours to harden.

Once the butter is ready to go, cut the cornbread muffins down the middle, and place them on a grill, sliced side down (to get grill marks and some nice smoky flavor) for 2 minutes. Cut a few pats of the compound butter, and spread them on the grilled side. Enjoy your hangover-free morning.
