Philly's favorite cheesesteak personality, Tony Luke, Jr., has just signed on to star in a new TV show called Frankenfood. Joined by Josh Capon, the brains and brawn behind NYC's popular Lure Fishbar, Luke will be judging amatuer cooks and their crazy concoctions on Spike TV's very first cooking show. The winner will receive $10,000 and get their creation featured on the menu of a local restaurant.

Capon told Eater HQ that they're really hoping to unearth some great flavor combinations that have yet to be discovered. When asked for examples of other "frankenfoods," Capon named Reuben sandwiches, Beef Wellington, peanut butter cups, and the Chipwich as classics. Spike TV has ordered ten 30-minute episodes for a Spring 2014 premiere, and filming begins later this fall.
