Opening Alert

Passyunk Post has the early report on ¡Juice!, a new vegan juice bar on Grays Ferry Ave, just below South St. The space used to be home to Betty's Speakeasy, which closed over the summer after a five-year run. The menu is pretty much what you'd expect — juices and smoothies with optional superfood add-ins, vegan baked goods, sandwiches on the way — but their liberal BYO policy flouts some expectations (yes, they're OK with you bringing a little something to spike your juice with).
