EAST PASSYUNK — Tomorrow night, December 5, E. Passyunk Ave. will host their annual tree lighting party from 5 to 7 p.m. In addition to seeing the Singing Fountain dressed up as a tree and lit, you'll get to sample some free food and drink from local businesses like Noord, Stateside, Belle Cakery, and Black & Brew, and enjoy visits from Santa and a chorus of carolers. The event is free, and after 7 p.m. many businesses along the Avenue will keep their doors open late and offer specials (rumor has it Joncarl Lachman is roasting a whole goat at Noord). Get more details here. [EaterWire]
