Armed Robbery at Loco Pez

Scary news from Fishtown overnight: Local new outlets are reporting that an armed robbery took place at Loco Pez early this morning, just after closing time. 6 ABC cites police reports that describe a man wielding a sawed-off shotgun waiting outside for two employees and two customers until they closed, then forcing them back inside to rob them and access the register.

The suspect, who fled the scene, is alleged to have stolen $70 from one customer and $1000 more from the register. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, and it sounds like there is surveillance footage of the robbery, which hopefully will provide some useful leads. Eater has reached out to Loco Pez and will update with any new developments.
