After five successful years at 20th and Lombard Streets, Pub & Kitchen is going through a facelift. Ian Chapin is the mastermind behind the renovation, which includes updated lighting, refinished floors, and new furniture. Fans of P&K shouldn't be alarmed, though, as the ownership promises it won't be a complete redux of the space. Chapin was responsible for the successful update of Meme into Fitler Dining Room, which has been given high marks by everyone who has already experienced it.

More importantly, Eli Collins has been brought in to take over the kitchen after his most recent stint as executive chef of Daniel Boulud's DBGB in NYC. Replacing Johnny Mac will be impossible, but Collins is a worthy successor, and is sure to put his own stamp on the next era of Pub & Kitchen. To complete the extensive renovations and updates, Pub & Kitchen will be closed on April 1, with the big reveal happening on April 15. Stay tuned.
