CENTER CITY — Grillicious, which took over the former Crisp in Center City appears to be closed up for good. A big, fat chain with a padlock is wrapped around the front door of the place, which usually points to a landlord keeping a tenant from getting inside the building. Calls to the establishment weren't returned. [Foobooz]
MARKET EAST — Tonight is the kickoff to All-You-Can-Eat snow crab Tuesday at the Field House. For $25, they'll bring you an endless parade of crustaceans with drawn butter and fries. Since the unfortunate shutter of Craft & Claw has taken away our AYCE crab nights, this will have to fill the void. [Foobooz]
NORTH PHILLY — Osteria's Jeff Michaud is writing a cookbook, Eating Italy: A Culinary Adventure Through Italy's Best Meals, and it's hitting store shelves in September. The tome is a mix of autobiography and a travel diary that tells the story of Michaud's experience in cooking and how he came to fall in love with Italian cuisine and his Italian wife. [Grub Philly]
