When Hot Diggity opened up on South Street, it took Philly's hot dog landscape to the next stratosphere. Owner Keith Garabedian's cooking skills and love for tube steak paired up with artist Hawk Krall's beautiful menu illustrations have made Hot Diggity a huge success. Krall is now stepping up his involvement with the restaurant by launching a series of classes at Hot Diggity that are a seminar of hot dog history.
The first class of Hot Diggity University is taking place on April 22 at 7 p.m. and will focus on the New England dogs, including favorites from Flo's, NY System Weiners, and Blackies. While there will be plenty of learning happening, there will also be lots of hot dogs to eat and beers to drink. You can reserve your spot and register for classes by calling (267) 886-9253, or sign up in person at Hot Diggity.
