Jersey Shore Pizza Patriarch Passes Away

This past weekend, Frank Manco, founder of Manco & Manco's Pizza, passed away at the age of 81 after a lengthy illness. Manco's father Vincent started Mack & Manco's in 1956 with Anthony Mack, before a contentious split happened near the end of 2011, ending with the renaming of the business as Manco & Manco's.

Frank Manco is a Jersey shore icon, and this is truly sad news. For those interested, the Mass is happening on Thursday at noon at St. Augustine's RC Church of St. Damien Parish, 13th Street at Wesley Avenue, Ocean City, NJ. The interment will be a private affair.
