Strangelove's Open in April; William Bros. at Dandelion

GAYBORHOODThe upcoming beer bar Strangelove's, from the Local 44 and Memphis Taproom crew, is still on track for an April opening. Owners Brendan Hartranft and Leigh Maida are awaiting some paperwork from Harrisburg for the place, in addition to some interior design elements. The Insider is reporting that they've hired former Catahoula and Cantina Los Caballitos chef Paul Martin to run the kitchen. [The Insider]

POINT BREEZEThe guest chef sandwich series continues at American Sardine Bar with Joe Beddia's Oxtail JR. Beddia, who owns the just-opened Pizzeria Beddia conjured up the beasty bite, made up of braised oxtail on a massive ciabatta roll with piave, arugula, and long hot mayo. [Meal Ticket]

RITTENHOUSETomorrow night, the famous William Bros. brewery is doing a special event at The Dandelion, Stephen Starr's British pub. For $35, drinkers will get beers from three of the most famous William Bros. casks, in addition to passed hors d'oeuvres from Chef Robert Aiken. [Foobooz]
