Meme Fried Chicken Pop-Up Happening Tomorrow

Don't forget that tomorrow is the long-awaited return of David Katz and his famous fried chicken at the American Sardine Bar. While the shutter of Mémé meant Rittenhouse was losing a wonderful restaurant, the rest of Philly lost one of the best lunch deals in town, and arguably the best fried bird in all the land. For $11, you get the chicken, a biscuit, and a Miller High Life.

At 11 a.m. tomorrow, we get to experience Mémé fried chicken lunch all over again, even if it's just for one day. Katz said he will be making fried chicken tomorrow until he runs out of birds. Hopefully the lunch rush action will encourage Katz to do more pop-ups, and maybe even open a fried chicken shack. Cross your fingers.
