Citypaper critic Adam Erace stopped by the shiny new beer hall Brü, and had many nice things to say about the place. Even though the crowd leans towards the fratty persuasion, Erace loved the food and service. He specifically name-dropped the $48 mixed meat platter (full of sausages, whey-fermented kraut, latkes, and meatballs) and french fries that are "some of the best in the city" from chef Matt Beuhler.
