Restaurateur Munish Narula is opening his latest venture, Tiffin Bistro, on the evening of May 31. Narula, who also owns the chain of Tiffin restaurants and high-end Indian joint Tashan, is opening his new restaurant at 1100 Federal Street, the former home of Kris. Even though the neighborhood is full of young food fanatics, Narula is opening the first Indian restaurant in the area, which has been quickly evolving over the last few years.
The biggest bonus for the neighborhood is that Tiffin Bistro is the first Indian cuisine delivery in the South Philly, which is filling a massive void. It also means Narula will most likely make a killing in the process. So, make sure you keep next Friday open, as Narula & Co. will be throwing a grand opening party for his latest eatery.
