Lil' Pop Shop Expanding to South Street on June 1

The Lil' Pop Shop world dominance continues, as top popper/owner Jeanne Chang is getting ready to open their second storefront at 534 S. 4th Street, right off of South Street. Chang said that if everything goes according to plan (which usually means city inspections), they will be open next Saturday, June 1. The new shop will be basically the same as the original in West Philly, except the kitchen will be on the second floor.

Chang had a very successful first year, garnering tons of accolades for her amazing frozen treats, including a name drop in Food & Wine magazine. The official Lil' Pop Shop truck is getting wrapped right now, and Chang said it will be on the street and showing up for big events in short order, as well.
