Mugshot Diner Opening in Fishtown This Week

Mugshot Diner is opening on Thursday, May 30, at 2424 E. York Street. Chris Voz is opening a version of his popular Mount Holly, NJ diner of the same name that closed up shop awhile back. The massive restaurant boasts 150 seats and an open kitchen, with an interior bathed in neon and bold primary colors, reminiscent of 80's fashion and design. Mugshot Diner has no connection with the Fairmount coffee shop, which is Mugshots.

The restaurant is taking over the first floor of 2424 Studios, and will be open from 7 a.m. until 2 a.m. from Sunday through Wednesday, and until 3 a.m. on Thursday. They'll be open 24 hours a day on Friday and Saturday. As for entertainment, a DJ is being scheduled from 2 a.m. until 6 a.m. on the weekends free cup of coffee will be available to anyone who stops by at 7 a.m. on Thursday morning.
