Farmer's Cabinet Team Taking Over Beauty Shop Cafe

Popular G-Ho coffee stop Beauty Shop Cafe, located at at 2001 Fitzwater Street, has been taken over by Matt Swartz of The Farmer's Cabinet. The Insider is reporting that Swartz is going to overhaul the space, but promises a "coffee-centric" concept since Beauty Shop held on strong for 6 years and became a favorite of the locals. No name has been announced as of yet.

Swartz won't be going in on the project alone, as he's hired help in the form of Philip Search, who spent time as a coffee consultant in NYC and the Pacific Northwest, both known for their top-level bean culture. Search also was in charge of Beauty Shop Cafe at the end of its lifecycle, so he already knows the regulars and the neighborhood. Stay tuned.
