Philly expat Monica Glass was just named Best New Pastry Chef by Food & Wine magazine for her work at Clio in Boston. Glass, who was a huge fan favorite here in Philly when she worked at 10 Arts with tag-team partner Jen Carroll, left the city for greener pastures after a short stint at Mike Stollenwerk's Fish after her time at 10 Arts.
Most of Philly still follows the adventures of Ms. Glass up north and secretly hoped she would return one day. But, it appears that she's doing just fine in Boston, and we'll always be proud to call her one of our own no matter where she lands. Congrats, Monica!
