Two very vocal South Philly community organizations begged the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board to put the proposed casino anywhere but South Philly. And the NIMBYs have a legit complaint, too: 380 annual events, 8 million visitors, and 5.5 million vehicle trips each year from two stadiums and an entertainment complex are quite enough. Stay tuned.
