Here's your excuse to visit Lolita before it closes at the end of July for a two-month renovation: three summer specials as hot as Chef Marcie Turney's spicy pickled morita chile pico de gallo.
With the new Buy One, Get One Margarita Pitchers special on Sundays, diners who BYOT and pick up one of the restaurant's legendary marg mixes will receive a second pitcher on the house.
Monday nights become family-style Barbecue Nights featuring baby back ribs, shrimp alambre, grilled hangar steak, watermelon & jicama salad, veggie slaw, beans, Mexican street-style corn, and roasted jalapeno cornbread for just $25 a pop.
Lastly, Taco Tuesdays return through July, featuring tortillas, fresh salsa and a variety of Chef Turney's signature fixins' for $20 a head.
Take advantage of these specials before the revamped Lolita opens this fall with a liquor license and a whole new menu, which means upped prices and more consitently-full dining rooms, too.
