The Insider is reporting that super-popular New York barbecue spot, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, is scouting locations in Philly to set up shop. The official company line is that nothing is set in stone for our area just yet, but Mike Klein says the 1500 block of Chestnut Street is the most-likely landing spot for our outpost of the biker and blues bar.

Dinosaur Bar-B-Que already has 6 locations in upstate NY, Connecticut, and Jersey, with a 7th storefront opening tomorrow night in Brooklyn, and an 8th set to open in Buffalo sometime in Fall. And while they're not talking about the Philly spot on the record just yet, it's a good bet that we'll be seeing that funky dinosaur logo joining the rest of the recent out of town imports, like Shake Shack, Joe Coffee, Luke's Lobster, and Crumbs Bake Shop.
