Serpico, the hotly-anticipated collaboration between ex-Momofuku lieutenant Peter Serpico and super restaurateur Stephen Starr, is opening to the public tomorrow night. But, before that happens, we've got a clutch of photos for you to gander at and drool over before dropping big bucks on dinner this weekend. As you can see in the pics above, it's a truly handsome space, and arguably the most beautiful restaurant in the Starr empire. Emperor Starr believes so, too, and he was beaming like a proud father last night.
"I love coming here, I could probably live here," Starr said jokingly. "It's a great space. It was designed by Thomas Schlesser, the guy who did DBGB in New York and Blackbird and The Publican in Chicago."
Serpico hasn't released an official opening menu just yet, but these were the dishes scrawled on the blackboard last night. We're told that they're going to be there on Friday as well, so you can plan your gorgefest ahead of time.
