Inky critic Craig LaBan dropped two delicious bells on ramen newcomer Cheu Noodle Bar, which is headed up by childhood buddies chef Ben Puchowitz and Shawn Darragh. LaBan gave a big thumbs up to the creativity and execution of the non-noodle dishes like scrapple, foie gras meatballs, and barbecue pig tails. On the doughy side, the winners are the cold sesame noodles, the lamb neck ragu with torn noodles, and the straight-up ramen. [Philly.com]
