The newly revitalized Serrano in Old City is kicking July up a notch with the debut of the Serrano Street Fare menu. Normally, chef Gina Rodriguez closes up shop for the summer, but this year they're keeping the doors open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays in July to give this new concept a whirl. Expect 8 to 10 "grab n' go" items served on paper plates at food truck prices.

Some of the dishes making an appearance on the new Street Fare menu include pulled pork soft tacos served in hand-made flatbread; Sonoran hot dog wrapped in bacon, topped with beans and guacamole; and grilled corn on the cob smeared with cayenne honey butter and green onion. On the non-alcoholic drink side of things they'll have fresh sangria and spiked agua fresca, and for you booze hounds, there's a Yards Brewing Co. tap takeover scheduled for later this summer.

The Street Fare menu will be available on July 5-6, 11-13, and 18-20.
