ctowngate.jpgThe city of Philadelphia is working on lowering the salt content in delivery and take-out foods, and they're starting with the bevy of Chinese restaurants that are most prevalent in low-income neighborhoods. 200 of the approximately 400 Chinese restaurants in town are participating in the program, which teaches chefs how to prepare food with the same flavor and much less salt, and finding purveyors that sell lower-sodium ingredients.
