Even though Tria recently shut down the Tria Wine Room (known as Biba when it first opened years ago), that didn't slow down restaurateur Jon Myerow in his quest to open his next project, Tria Taproom. Myerow's latest venture is opening up at 2005 Walnut Street, former home of popular neighborhood cocktail haunt, Rum Bar.
The upcoming Tria Taproom will feature their signature eclectic wine list, but is also going way deep on an extensive craft beer selection along with ciders and sodas, all of which will be available on draft. In terms of food, they're going to offer high-end pizza, which has become big business in Philly over the last couple years, and bar snacks.
To keep their fans apprised of the developments at Tria Taproom, they've just launched a website that says they're shooting for an August opening date.
