Point Breeze's popular neighborhood spot American Sardine Bar is debuting their beautiful new courtyard tonight at 6 p.m. with a big cookout. Chef Scott Schroeder is putting together a menu of delicious New England style grilled goodies like lobster tails, crabs, hot dogs, and all kinds of other tasty stuff. The ASB crew is offering up $2 Narragansett cans all night for the outdoor crowd.
The courtyard itself is big enough to accommodate 50 patrons who can plop down on some old school aluminum lawn chairs with blue and white nylon webbing, surrounded by planter boxes and a whitewashed wood slat fence. Looks like ASB's new outdoor digs are going to be the new summer hangout for 2013.
