It looks like Philly is finally getting representation in The Food Network's The Great Food Truck Race, as three guys known as The Samboni Boys are competing on the popular TV show starting August 18 at 9 p.m.

Just as it was last season, The Great Food Truck Race pits teams of three that have no food truck experience against one another as they travel across the country selling their goods. The Food Network constructs trucks for the teams based on their personality and their menu. So, of course the Philly truck is red, white, and blue.

Not much is known about the three guys other than that they're competing with Philly's signature sandwich, the cheesesteak. But, it's made their own signature way, and they call it a Samboni. All three of the Samboni gentlemen are very Philly, which should prove entertaining when the other teams step out of line or over the line during competition. Good luck guys. And make us proud.
