There's been chatter about Iron Chef Jose Garces opening a restaurant in Washington, D.C. for a few years now, and it's finally happened. Garces announced that he's bringing an Argentinian Steakhouse to the Madison Hotel in D.C., which is just a few short blocks away from fellow Philly homeboy Stephen Starr's shiny, new Le Diplomate.

The new Garces steakhouse doesn't have a name just yet, and is replacing The Federalist, which opened just a couple years ago. And, while this is the biggest news for Garces as of late, his plate is already pretty damn full with the Cuban diner replacing Chifa; his upcoming Kimmel Center outpost, Volver; and Distrito at the Moorestown Mall. Got all that? Good.
