Here's The Menu For Ocean Prime, Opening 9/9

Restaurateur Cameron Mitchell is inching closer and closer to the big day when high-end chain Ocean Prime goes live at the corner of 15th and Sansom Streets, where Roy's once lived. The opening date was originally set for September 3, but Eater has been told that the big day is now almost a week later, September 9.

Mitchell has tapped Sonny Pache to run the massive kitchen, which will be turning out food for 130 guests in the dining room, 60 in the Blu Lounge, and three separate private dining spaces that can accommodate up to 30 people. Marc Oppen will be handling GM duties for the restaurant, which looks to join the fairly short list of expense account-friendly spots that cater to high-powered execs and their clients, as well as locals who want to blow some coin for events and occasions.

The vibe and interior design is going for the elegance and penache of the supper club with warm woods, moody lighting, and a two-story bar. The menu is very Boardwalk Empire steakhouse-esque, which means high quality seafood, big and bloody steaks, boozy cocktails, and heady wines.
