The Insider is reporting that Bernard Perrier, brother of famed restaurateur Georges Perrier, died on August 18. Besides being Georges' sibling, he was also one of Le Bec Fin's most beloved characters, holding down the fort in the front of the house while his brother worked magic in the kitchen. Perrier's daughter told The Insider that Bernard died from heart failure, and it was very unexpected. [The Insider]
