While the battle rages on over Chink's Steaks decision to rebrand as Joe's Steaks, you can still catch a glimpse of the shop pre-Joe's in a burn-off episode of Do No Harm on NBC this Saturday night at 10 p.m.
The show—which was shot in Philly—was cancelled long ago, but the network is running the rest of the unaired episodes throughout the summer. They shot a good amount of footage inside the restaurant, and as a bonus, Joe's GM Stefani Mahoney is making her acting debut as an extra on the show.
Joe's hit a rough patch immediately after the name change, which resulted in a 10% drop off in business in June, and 15% in July. But, things have been looking up a bit in recent weeks and it appears that owner Joe Groh is finally getting some good fortune after taking a massive gamble to do the right thing.
