Cheesesteak Prince Tony Luke Got Engaged

Tony Luke, Jr. has already conquered Hollywood and the cheesesteak world, and now he's taking the plunge. Luke invited some close compadres along with his longtime girlfriend—the lovely Jennifer Schloder—to Francoluigi's in South Philly for a supposed friendly gathering. In reality, Luke let all of his friends know ahead of time that he was planning on popping the question to Schloder, and did so by serenading her with a song (we love Tony a whole lot, but you should probably put the volume at 50%) before dropping to one knee and proposing. She said yes, and got a huge rock in the process.

We here at Eater like to put the touristy cheesesteak places on blast, but we love Tony Luke. He built his business by hustling his ass off, he is a true philanthropist, and unquestionably one of the nicest people in the business. Congrats, Tony and Jennifer. Interesting sidenote: the video was shot by popular football analyst Tony Bruno, who is a longtime friend of Luke's.
