Vernick Makes the Bon Appetit Best New Restaurant List

Andrew Knowlton, Bon Appetit restaurant honcho, namedropped Vernick as a finalist for his 10 Best New Restaurants in America list. It's a good choice for sure, but sadly it's the only representative from Philly among the 50 that were included on the list. Knowlton gives love to the many dishes chef Greg Vernick serves on toast, and the amazing cocktails put together by bartender extraordinaire Vincent Stipo.

The top 10 won't be named until later this month—and the fact only one Philly spot was named doesn't bode well for their chances—but hopefully this is just the first in a long list of big-time awards that Vernick deserves. Congrats and good luck.
