The New York Times is the latest rag to get in on the Han Dynasty lovefest, talking up his recent excursion to culinary school in Chengdu and how it'll make his NYC restaurant awesome. The Times joins Serious Eats and Robert Sietsma in their early praise of Han Chiang's amazing cuisine. Most impressive is that Chiang gets all of that ink based strictly on his talents, as he doesn't have a PR team or spend a dime on advertising. [NYT]
