Blaze at Cosi in Old City Causes Office Evacuation

Photo: Mike Dougherty

A tipster told Eater HQ that a fire broke out this morning at the Cosi located at 4th and Chestnut Streets. The blaze started around 9 a.m., and caused the evacuation of the office building above and shut down the streets around the coffee shop.

There were no injuries reported and it appears that the fire is now under control, but you Cosi regulars should probably get your Plan B ready to go for the next few days.
