Indisputable facts: 1) David Katz' fried chicken from dearly departed Mémé is sorely missed. 2) Scott Schroeder could rightfully claim the #PeoplesChamp title solely for his dedication to keeping that chicken from going completely extinct. (He would probably also like it said that he's better at Twitter than George Costa, as if you don't already follow him.)

Last year, he invited Katz to American Sardine Bar to resurrect the fried chicken lunch special for one day only, and they predictably sold out of chicken in a heartbeat or two. But take heart, because they're doing it all over again on Thursday, January 30, and they're promising to bring in more chicken this time around.

So put it down in ink: January 30, starting at 11 a.m. at ASB, fried chicken with a biscuit and a High Life for $11 (sides will run you extra).
