Good news for Jersey residents, as Smashburger's studied avoidance of Philly proper marches forward (or so it feels, but the company's plans for the region are nowhere near complete): the new Voorhees location of the burger chain has set its opening date for Wednesday, January 22. In addition to the standard menu, the new franchise will feature the same regional specialty you've seen on the menu at the Cherry Hill location: the New Jersey burger, which features bacon, blue cheese, and both fried and grilled onions.
