Kensington Quarters is finally set to begin service in Fishtown. The multi-purpose project is aiming pretty high: it's a restaurant and bar, yes, but it also contains a full-service butcher shop and even a classroom and demo kitchen. It's a partnership between Michael and Jeniphur Pasquarello (Bufad, Prohibition, Cafe Lift) and butcher Bryan Mayer.

Overall hours are as follows:

Monday: 5 to 10 p.m.
Tuesday through Thursday: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Note that the restaurant and bar will be open for dinner seven nights a week, while the butcher shop is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. (The restaurant is not open for lunch at this time.)

The opening menu and drink lists are posted below.

As they launch classes in the coming weeks, they'll regularly offer educational experiences in butchering, cooking, and more. The second floor houses the classroom, which has its own kitchen, additional seating, and another bar. This space will also be available for private events.
