Eat All the Vetri Family's Greatest Hits Under One Roof on NYE

Plus: Philly Mag's 50 best restaurants and a new NYC grocery import.

FAIRMOUNT — Alla Spina will become Club Vetri on New Year's Eve, which means a few crucial things: Yes, it's a dance party and yes, of course, there's an open bar (featuring local staples Yards and Philadelphia Distilling). But there will also be food from all of the Vetri family restaurants — Vetri, Amis, Osteria, Pizzeria Vetri, Lo Spiedo, and host Alla Spina — all in one place. All-inclusive tickets (buy them here) are $130 until December 26, and $140 closer to the date. (You can also call or visit Alla Spina to buy them in person, which will save you the EventBrite fee.) LISTICLESPhiladelphia magazine released its 50 Best Restaurants list over the weekend. Topping the always-controversial list is Nick Elmi's Laurel, followed by Fork, Vernick, Pumpkin, and Sbraga to round out the surprising top five. Check out the full list here. [Foobooz]

SOUTH STREET — There are some fresh signs of movement for the new Garden of Eden grocery store on South Street. The Philly outpost of the NYC-based chain, first reported on back in September, is moving into the sizable Abbott Square corner space at Second and South. [Twitter]
