When Circles' chef-owner Alex Boonphaya traveled to Thailand for a two-week research trip last summer, he brought local writer Brian Freedman with him. Freedman is putting out an e-book about the food he experienced on the trip, but you can start to dig in by checking out this fairly long read from this week's Philadelphia Weekly.
