Earlier today, Zagat Philly broke the news that stunt-burger masters PYT are going national with a franchising deal. And it seems only fair that Philly exports a burger chain concept now, given how many new burger chains have been breaking into our market recently.
And of course, it's not just the chains that are exploding here. Philly's lately experienced a head-spinning influx of new chefs and new restaurants, all of which means: new burgers. So let's talk about the best of the best burgers that you've fallen for over the past year or so. All comers welcome: no matter if the bun was made of ramen or the patty made of kale — if you loved it, Eater wants to know about it. (The only requirement is that they're relatively new — while some of us would still strongly consider gnawing through our own arm to get at a Royal Tavern Angus burger, that's just not what this search is about.)
Cast your vote in the comments section below or via the tipline, if you prefer. Hell, tweet it at us if you like. Next week, your responses will get all wrapped up in map form and presented as a gift to those less burger-savvy than yourselves.
