LOS Truck Shutters; Chickie's and Pete's to Pay $8.5M Settlement in Tip-Skimming Case

LAWSUITSChickie's and Pete's will pay a whopping $8.5 million settlement to current and former employees in the tip-skimming case against them. "Chickie's and Pete's behavior is troubling because they both unlawfully took tips from their workers and failed to pay them even the $2.13 per hour the law requires," said Laura Fortman of the U.S. Labor Department.
