Hawthorne's Cafe Damaged in Fire

The Passyunk Post has photos and details on a fire that broke out around 7 a.m. today at 11th and Fitzwater streets, in the building that houses Hawthorne's Cafe. There were no injuries, but the damage to the building has put eight people out of their homes.

The fire reportedly began in an apartment above the cafe, and the damage to Hawthorne's appears to be limited to water damage. The cafe and bottle shop is owned by Chris Fetfatzes and Heather Annechiarico, who also own The Cambridge. (The Fetfatzes family also owns Bella Vista Beer and the Bainbridge St. Barrel House.) After the fire was extinguished, Hawthorne's took to Twitter with assurances that they plan to come back:
