Townsend Wentz, who's currently at work on Townsend on East Passyunk as well as a still-unnamed Italian project in Fairmount, said in an interview earlier this month that he planned to put on some collaborative dinners while working towards opening day. True to his word, Wentz will be kicking off a month's worth of weekly collabs with chef Chris Kearse at neighboring Will BYOB, as initially reported by Michael Klein.
The Thursday night series lines up a handful of heavy hitters: Wentz on March 6, Ben Puchowitz (Cheu Noodle Bar) on March 13, Mike Santoro (The Mildred) on March 20, and Greg Vernick on March 27. Each dinner will reflect the style of the night's visiting chef, and will go for $70 per person for five courses.
