taqfelizsignhang.jpgThe opening of Taqueria Feliz was great news for a neighborhood in desperate need of a little culinary good news, and it only tastes sweeter now that Craig LaBan has put his two-bell stamp of approval on it. While there were some issues with tortilla freshness (and some problems that don't necessarily sound like problems, like a torta that was a "sloppy mess"), chef Lucio Palazzo's "passion for handcrafted, authentically inspired fare is clear," and the lamb barbacoa is a "destination masterpiece."
