Craig LaBan headed out to Bryn Mawr to check out Restaurant Cerise, and the uneven and relatively uninspired experience resulted in a lackluster 1-bell review. At fault: not enough creativity or risk-taking for a tasting menu-only concept, a handful of "woefully overcooked" items, and stinginess with bread. Unrelated, but notable, is that next week's LaBan review will hit Nicholas Elmi's Laurel. [Inquirer] [Photo: Facebook]
