Recently, Trey Popp reviewed High Street on Market for Philly Mag, noting that his wife had declared the place "too snobby" for brunch — leaving Eater, in turn, hungry for a spouse-penned companion review. Today, we got the next best thing: Popp took to Foobooz to elaborate a bit on his wife's stance (she actually liked all the food, but sticks to her objections to the "Brooklynized" selection), and to allow for an update of the facts. Since Popp visited for the review (but before it ran), High Street did in fact begin offering bagels, the previous lack of which had been a sticking point for Popp's five-year-old. And apparently the bagels are "excellent." Happy endings all around. [Foobooz]
