Whiskey & Waffles Brunch; More Pi Day Pies

QUEEN VILLAGE — The epic bromance between Scott Schroeder and Jason Cichonski continues this Sunday, March 16 with the second installment of their Whiskey and Waffles brunch at Ela. On the menu: savory cereal with celery root milk, bagels and whiskey lox, and the phrase "bacon sausage." CENTER CITY — As Eater has mentioned previously, tomorrow is Pi Day. And lunch spot Day by Day is celebrating by cranking out a ton of different pies — some we've never even heard of. On the docket: chocolate stout, lemon pandan meringue, gluten-free peanut butter, blood orange with pistachio crumble, pear almond mascarpone, beet sour cream, bacon crack, and vegan grape fig.
